Repair Replacement Straps for Le Corbusier Style L4 Chaise Lounge Chair,with double hooks. The core is made of high quality rubber shirr, wrapped by double-strand nylon webbings. Distinct from the normal elastic band, a single strap can load the weight of as much as 100kg. The price is for a set containing 10pcs straps. Regular size for each strap is 4.5cm in width, and 40cm in total length with the most stretch to 57cm. The hook is with 2mm in diameter, the distance between the 2 hooks is around 3cm but adjustable. But we can customize with hook and straps of different sizes upon your special request at extra cost for customization. Regular color is just as green in the picture, other colors are available for customization.

As it is well known, unlike other chairs and sofas, Le Corbusier styles have unusual supporters.
For exampe, normal chairs or sofa would have based made of either metal or wood, the supporting frames would bear the loads from the seating.
However, for Le Corbusier styles, such LC4 lounge chair, LC2 chiar and sofa, LC3 chair and sofa, their supporting and bearing parts are straps.


This requests the straps must be elastic and strong at the same time, otherwise they will not last long before they are broken.

Material we use

The key for the straps to be strong and elastic, is the material.
Using the high-density latex instead of average rubber,each strand twisted by triple threads instead of 2 or just single thread, the straps we offer is with the very high quality of loading and bearing for 10+ years with no problem at all.

Just because with better material, the straps we offer is with a thickness of 1.8mm while the average strap is only 1-1.2mm.

The regular size is as below:
For LC4 Lounge Chair, each strap is 4.5-5cm in width, and 41cm in length when unstretching while up to 57cm when stretching.
For LC2 Chair, short strap is 64cm in length and 5cm in width, long straps is 89cm in length and 5cm in width.
For LC2 Loveseat, short strap is 64cm in length and 5cm in width, long straps is 158cm in length and 5cm in width.
For LC2 Sofa, short strap is 64cm in length and 5cm in width, long straps is 228cm in length and 5cm in width.
For LC3 Chair, short strap is 64cm in length and 5cm in width, long straps is 89cm in length and 5cm in width.
For LC3 Loveseat, short strap is 64cm in length and 5cm in width, long straps is 158cm in length and 5cm in width.

Is the size accurate?
We will make the straps around 2-3cm shorter than the size as above, so when you install it, you will need to stretch the straps a little bit, NOT much, just a little bit, so the straps are under a tight and binding, NOT a loose status, which is important to support the heavy load from seating.
And customer should know one thing that, in the Furniture Industry, it is impossible to be accurate all the time, especially when you face some materials which are elastic, changing, easy-deforming. We may have a mould or a regular drawing, but we will allow our workers to use their experience to adjust. Because for most of furniture, especially some accessories, they are needed to be done by hand, NOT by machine. That is why the Furniture Industry is actually based on experience, NOT the drawings or calculation like Metal or Machine Industry.
